Dirt.

Yes, dirt. I got outside today and worked in our flower bed, dug in some dirt, and put down some very stinky manure to help out the blueberries. Very satisfying work. Dirty, but good.

The first rays of spring sunshine...

Today we went for a walk and noticed all the signs of spring, birds busy everywhere, buds on the trees, the grass finally turning green again, and SUNSHINE. Real honest-to-goodness sun. We all had to bask in it for a while. Hey, after a pretty difficult week, you take what you can get.

Wienermobile!!

Okay, I'm lucky enough to have seen the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile twice in my life. Once during college in Meadville, PA, and now again here in Pasadena, MD, at our very own Lauer's Supermarket. Way cool, I know.

Charlotte's Baptism

Our beautiful Charlotte has been baptized! It was wonderful, family and friends were there to help us with the ordinance and to celebrate, and I'm so grateful that everyone was here. We're very proud of her, and it's amazing that we have the best kids EVER!
