The past week or so I've been steam-cleaning all our carpets. It's actually been kind of fun, I really like "discovering" how dirty my seemingly clean house really is (I know, it's a sickness). We got new carpeting about 8 months ago, and I hadn't steam-cleaned it yet, I just kept thinking it was new. I vacuum twice a week, we have a no-shoes-in-the-house policy, and I literally wipe the dog's feet before she comes in the house, so I felt confident it was clean. Well, let me say, it's disgusting how much dirt is really on your floors. I have a Bissell ProHeat, and I love it. It's easy to use and scrubs really well without snagging our berber.
So, after getting all the floors truly clean, Charlotte got an upset stomach Friday night after eating tacos, and she projectile vomited in a large arc right across the carpet in her room. Gross, I know, which is why I spared you pictures in this post. I didn't even know you could projectile vomit at her age, I thought that was just an infant thing.
Anyway, so I spent the rest of the night cleaning the floors AGAIN! But hey, now they are really, super clean, right?
Poor thing...I hope she feels better soon! I'll have to look into that Bissell ;)
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, Charlotte... guess that was more about the cleaner than my kid. Whoops. Anyway, she was fine right away, I think it was something she ate.
